Beverly Comeaux, 85, of Silvis, passed Monday, November 11, 2024, at Illini Restorative Care, Silvis.

Visitation will be from 4:00 – 7:00 PM Thursday, November 14, 2024, at Van Hoe Funeral Home, East Moline. Additional services will be at 2:00 PM Sunday November 17, 2024, at Dennard First National Funeral Home in Winnsboro, LA, with visitation from 12:00 PM to service time. Burial will be in Ogden Cemetery, Liddieville, LA. Memorials may be left in Beverly's name to the Honor Flight.

Beverly was born on August 25, 1939, in Winnsboro, LA, the daughter of James Milton and Ruby Lee (Williams) Albritton. She married Lt. Col. Roy Douglas Comeaux (Ret.) on May 31, 1958, in Winnsboro. He preceded her in death on July 6, 1992.

Beverly was the type of woman that people naturally wanted to be around. She could carry on a conversation in any subject, showing attention and wit, up until the very end. She was absolutely as stubborn as they come. She had a strong faith, but was a scientist at heart when you consider her incredible creations from the kitchen. I actually think cooking in the kitchen is the only time she enjoyed being indoors. And as someone who has seen beautiful things all over the world, Beverly never lost the ability to see the beauty that was right in front of her- usually flowers. She was a woman with a green thumb, a fisherman, a New Orleans Saints and LSU football enthusiast, and a coffee connoisseur. To know her was to love her. Beverly also enjoyed cooking, shopping flea markets for treasures, and her bird's eye view of the bayou with a cup of coffee.

Survivors include her children, Connie Comeaux, Chris (Colleen) Comeaux, Matt (Lisa) Comeaux, Patrick Comeaux; grandchildren, Bailey (Joey), Steven (Ivori), Christopher, Zachary (Corrina) Josie (Michael), Jennifer (William), Jamie, Logan, Joshua (Allie); great grandchildren, Oliver, Theo, Grayson, Aubrey, Jaden, Krista, Kaydie, Kenzee; brother, Tommy Albritton; several nieces, nephews, great nieces , great nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Jimmy Albritton.
