Beverly JoAnne Gordon, 76, Moline, died Monday, January 26, 2009 at Oak Glen Home, Coal Valley. Graveside services are 1:30 PM Wednesday at Rock Island National Cemetery. Anyone wishing to attend services should arrive at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline by 1PM. A memorial fund has been established. JoAnne was born December 27, 1932 in Galesburg, IL, the daughter of Keith and Berneice (Eyres) Laswell. She married Thomas H. Gordon, August 4, 1951 in North Henderson, IL. He preceded her in death on April 28, 1978. Mrs. Gordon had worked in the laundry at Howard Johnson's, Moline. Survivors include her children and spouses; Dave and Sally Gordon, Moline, Wayne Gordon, Rock Island, and Tom and Kelly Gordon of Moline, 7 Grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, brothers Merle Laswell, Galesburg, Layne Laswell, Galesburg and Mike Laswell, Fort Meyers, FL., and a son-in-law Clyde Guardia of Silvis. She is preceded in death by her husband, son Steve Gordon and daughter Becky Guardia.
