Beverly "Joyce" Hanson, 85, Moline, passed away May 12, 2010 at Aspen Health and Rehab, Silvis. Visitation is 2-5PM Sunday, May 16, 2010 at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Funeral services are 11 AM Tuesday, May 25, 2010 at Union Congregational Church, Moline with visitation 1 hour prior to services. Burial is in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Memorials may be made to Union Congregational Church, Moline, where she was a member. Beverly Joyce Allison was born April 29, 1925 in Moline, the daughter of Lloyd and Alverta (Bauer) Allison. She married Kay Hanson on May 1, 1943 in Moline. He died April 23, 1993. Joyce had worked at the former Hasty Tasty, Moline, at Northwoods Hospital in Phelps, WI, she and her husband owned and operated the Road Runner Resort, Phelps before moving back to the Quad-Cities where they were caretakers at Watchhill Tower in Rock Island until their retirement in 1988. She dearly loved her family, enjoyed playing cards and loved crocheting. Survivors include her children and spouses: Sandy and Mark Pilon, Silvis, Mike and Peggy Hanson, Medford, OR, Deborah and Frank Cook, Carbon Cliff, and Jeff and Jane Hanson, Glide, OR, fourteen grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandson and brothers and sisters-in-law; Duane and Bev Allison, East Moline, and Dale and Jo Allison, Bettendorf.
