Beverly "Peggy" Irene Miller, 87, of Moline, died Tuesday, June 16, 2015, at HH Homeplate Assisted Living, Gilbert, Ariz. Funeral services are 11 AM Thursday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Visitation is 1 hour prior to services at the funeral home. Private family committal services will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. A memorial fund has been established. Peggy was born February 4, 1928 in Duluth, MN, the daughter of Arvid and Mildred Masson Ness. She married Louis Matalik on December 7, 1946 in Rock Island. She married Robert E. Miller on May 30, 1972. Peggy had worked 10 years for Goldsmiths Womens Apparel and 10 years at the Kinney Shoe Dept at Turnstyle, Moline. She enjoyed fishing, camping, crocheting and going to the casinos. She was a member of the local TOPS Club and Red Hat Society. Survivors include her sons, Michael Matalik, Joy, IL, Richard Matalik Davenport, IA, daughters, Karen Clevenger Florence, AZ and Deborah Matalik, Moline, 5 grandchildren, step sons Tom Miller and Charles Miller and her significant other, Lyle Meuret of Washington She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, grandparents, brother Sonny, her dear aunts and uncles that she had lived with for 13 years, Agnes, Connie, Evelyn, Dolly, Dorothy, Billy and Norman, and grandson Dean Matalik.
