Beverly Jean Ohrberg, 81, East Moline, died Thursday, October 25, 2012 at Genesis Medical Center-Illini Campus, Silvis. Funeral services are 11 AM Monday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, Silvis. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, East Moline. Visitation is 1 hour prior to services at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Our Lady of Guadalupe Church or to Quad City Animal Welfare, Milan. Bev was born December 19, 1930 in Moline, the daughter of Elmer and Bertha (Schinckle) Ohrberg. She retired as a billing supervisor from John Deere Industrial Equipment. Ms. Ohrberg had been a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in East Moline and belonged to the Altar Society. She held a lifetime devotion to her Lord and to the Catholic Faith. She was member of the National Catholic Society of Foresters. She enjoyed cooking and sewing. Bev had compassion for all living creatures, especially dogs, cats and any animal visiting her back yard. Survivors include her special friend DeWayne Edwards, Moline, loving neighbor Kevin Martel, nephew, Jim Schinckle, Burnsville, MN, her extended family, and many wonderful friends including her high school classmates, and fellow John Deere retirees.
