Funeral services for Billy G. Haggard, 53, of Moline, IL, will be 10:00AM Friday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd, East Moline, IL. Burial will be in Rock Island National Cemetery, where military honors will be provided by East Moline American Legion Post 227. Visitation will be 4:00-7:00PM Thursday at the funeral home. Mr. Haggard died Sunday, June 1, 2014, at his home. Billy was born April 9, 1961 in Mercer, MO, the son of Richard and Barbara Hutchins Haggard. He served in the US Air Force. He married Denise M. Therrien October 31, 1987, in San Antonio, TX. He had been a manager for Batteries Plus, Moline, retiring in 2012, after 16 years of service. Billy enjoyed all sports, and especially liked watching the Chicago Bears. Survivors include his wife, Denise Haggard, Moline; son, Jason (Luisana) Haggard, Moline; grandchildren, Matthew and Isabella Haggard; brother, Johnny (Abbey) Haggard, and Joe Haggard, Worthington, OH.
