Funeral services for Bonnie L. Stanlake, 80, of Galesburg, IL, formerly of Moline, IL, will be 10:00 AM Friday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline, IL. Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline, IL. Visitation will be 4:00-7:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home. Mrs. Stanlake died peacefully with her family at her side, Tuesday, June 13, 2006 at Marigold Health and Rehab, Galesburg, IL. Memorials may be made to the Family. Bonnie Shaffer was born April 13, 1926 in Cranston, IA, the daughter of Lyle and Lavonna (Davis) Shaffer. She married Lloyd Stanlake August 10, 1946. She had worked at the former East Moline State Hospital and retired from the former Galesburg State Hospital in 1985 after 21 years of service. Survivors include; daughters, Cheryl Stanlake of Galesburg, IL, Kathy Stanlake of Galesburg, IL; son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Laura Stanlake of Yukon, OK; sisters, Phyllis Gomez of East Moline, IL, Frances Shaffer of Silvis, IL, Madeline Phelps of Moline, IL; brother, Wayne Shaffer of East Moline, IL.
