Funeral services for Bonnie Turner, 76, of Rapids City, IL, will be 10:00AM Thursday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline, IL. Burial will be in National Cemetery, Rock Island, IL. Visitation will be 4-7 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. Mrs. Turner died Saturday, December 31, 2005 at her home. Memorials may be made to Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Moline, IL, where she had been a member. Bonnie Alsip was born October 24, 1929 in Vienna, IL, the daughter of Willam R. and Mable M. (Miles) Alsip. She married LeRoy "Lee" Turner October 20, 1967, in East Moline, IL. He died July 22, 1997. For many years she had been a breeder of small poodles. She was a beloved mother and sister, she will be missed by all. Survivors include: daughter and son-in-law, Beverly and Don Mital of LeClaire, IA; stepdaughters and son-in-law, Cindy and Ed Johnson of Coal Valley, IL; Linda Dudgeon of Bettendorf, IA; grandchildren, John, Kelly, Jason, Brandon, Elisa, Bryce, Erin, Ryan and Laura; great grandsons, Sawyer and Holden; sisters and brothers-in-law, Betty and Pete Darnell of East Moline, IL, Brenda and Monroe Douglas of Cypress, IL; brother and sister-in-law, William and Mary Alsip of Benton, KY; special friend, Sharon Kirklin of Rapids City, IL. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and daughter, Donna Ferguson Weber, who died in 1979.
