Brenda K. Ellis, 60, of East Moline, IL, passed away June 5, 2023 at her home in East Moline.

A committal service will be 2:30 p.m. Monday, July 3rd at Rock Island National Cemetery, Arsenal Island. Those wishing to attend are to meet at Van Hoe Funeral Home, 1500 6th St., East Moline at 2:00 p.m. Monday, July 3rd to go in procession to the cemetery.

Brenda was born October 26, 1962 in Moline, IL, a daughter of Gerald and Nancy (Canida) Liedtke. She graduated from Moline High School. She married Kim R. Ellis, November 29, 1980, in Moline. He preceded her in death on January 26, 2008

She will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by all. Her favorite times were those spent with friends and family, especially her grandchildren whom she loved dearly.

Surviving are her children, Sabian Ellis, East Moline, Pierre Ellis, East Moline, Sierra Ellis, East Moline, Cherae Ellis, East Moline, Tasha Ellis, Chicago, IL, Trey Ellis, East Moline and Daveon Ellis, Moline; eleven grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and other family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Kim; patrents; brother, Carl Liedtke, and sister, Carol Gayley.
