Broc A. Melton, 23, Geneseo, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at Genesis Illini, Silvis. Memorial services are 11AM Saturday at First Presbyterian Church, Geneseo. Visitation is from 9 AM until service time at the church. In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorials may be made to the Henry County Humane Society of Geneseo. Broc was born on June 6, 1994 in Silvis, the son of Kevan and Marcy (Caldwell) Melton. He attended Geneseo Schools and had last worked for ArmaLite in Geneseo. He enjoyed fishing, flow art, was an animal lover and was a big man with a big heart. Survivors include his parents, Kevan and Marcy, Geneseo, brother Brandon (Olivia) Melton, Geneseo, their children, Jeremiah, Tristan and Aurora and grandparents, John and Sandy Caldwell, East Moline. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Richard Hooten and Jean Melton and an uncle Michael Caldwell.
