Brody Ryan Strong, 36, formerly of Andalusia and Illinois City, IL, died unexpectedly Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Phoenix, AZ.

He was born September 18, 1984 in Muscatine, IA, the son of Patti Shannon Strong and Ronald (Angie) Strong. He was proud of becoming the first ever male cheerleader at Rockridge High School. He graduated in 2002. In 2004, Brody moved to Arizona and started college, where he received his license to be a hair stylist. He worked at many salons. He enjoyed glass blown art, and being on a computer, and living in Arizona. "There is always something to do", he would say. He loved dogs. Brody could light up any room. He was light hearted and a friend to all. He loved his family and friends.

Survivors include his parents, brothers; Chad (Jennifer) Strong, Hampton, IL, Adam (Taylor) Damewood, Andalusia, IL, and Chase (Erica) Damewood, Andalusia, IL, sister; Kyli Jo Shannon, grandparents; Patricia Shannon, Hampton, IL, Diane Strong, Muscatine, IA, and many aunts, uncles, neices and nephews.

He is proceeded in death by grandparents, Harley Shannon, Richard Strong, and Betty Jensen.
