C. Eileen Gant , 91, of East Moline, IL, passed away Monday August 4, 2025, at Hope Creek Care Center, East Moline.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 12th, at Van Hoe Funeral Home, East Moline, with visitation one hour prior to services on Tuesday. Burial will be 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, August 12th at Macon County Memorial Park, Decatur, IL. Memorials may be made to Honor Flight of the Quad Cities, to the family or a charity of the donor's choice.

Eileen was born December 4, 1933, in Niantic, Illinois, a daughter of Joe and Agnes (Burns) Woodrum. She graduated high school in Niantic, IL. She married Larry E. Gant on December 9, 1951, in Niantic. They had five sons, all born in Decatur, IL, Michael, Richard, Dennis, Kevin and Jeff. They moved to East Moline in 1961.

Eileen enjoyed bowling, golfing, crocheting, and dancing. Some of her favorite times were those spent making memories with her loving family and good friends.

Surviving are her two sons, Rich Gant, of East Moline, and Kevin Gant, and his wife, Lisa, Silvis, IL; daughter-in-law, Mary Ann Gant; ten grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Judy Furbeck; and many nieces, nephews, and other family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry; sons, Dennis, Mike, and Jeff; her parents, Joe and Agnes; sisters and their husbands, Lucille and Bob Heinrich and Fern and Gene Burks; and brother, Earl Woodrum.
