Carol K. Lee , 87, of Silvis, IL, passed away Monday May 26, 2025, at her home in Silvis.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 30th, at Christ United Methodist Church, East Moline, IL. Interment will be at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. Thursday, May 29th, at Van Hoe Funeral Home, East Moline. Memorials may be made to Christ United Methodist Church or to ARC of the Quad Cities.

Carol was born April 23, 1938, in Monroe County, Iowa, a daughter of Russell and Ida (Vosburgh) Boles. She married Robert D. "Bob" Lee on June 7, 1958. He preceded her in death on March 6, 2023.

Carol was a member of Christ United Methodist Church and the church Bell Choir. She will be fondly remembered as a loving wife, mother, and doting grandmother and great-grandmother to her grandchildren, whom she adored.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Susan (Chris) Mekus, East Moline, Brian (Lisa) Lee, Colona; grandchildren, Alaina Mekus, Rock Island, IL, Melissa (Korey) Wenstrup, Davenport, IA, Allison (Dustin) Miner, Anderson, IN, and Ryan Lee, Bremerton, WA; great grandchildren, Sutton Miner, Quinn Miner, and Hudson Wenstrup; brother, Keith (Jane) Boles, Columbia, MO; and several nieces and nephews, and their families.

Carol was preceded in death by her husband, Bob; infant daughter, Kathy Lee; her parents, Russell and Ida; and one sister, Lois McClure.
