Funeral services for Carole G. Hodshire, 81, of East Moline, IL, will be at 10:30 AM Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at St. John Lutheran Church, East Moline. Burial will be in Rock Island National Cemetery, Rock Island, IL. Visitation will be from 5-7 PM Monday, December 29, 2025 at the Van Hoe Funeral Home, East Moline. Mrs. Hodshire passed away Monday, December 22, 2025, at Mercy One, Silvis, IL.

Carole Reents was born November 18, 1944, in Moline, IL, the daughter of William and Eva (George) Reents. She married Frank Hodshire November 13, 1966, in East Moline.

Survivors include her children, Michael (Michelle) Hodshire, Geneseo, IL, and Ingrid Hodshire, East Moline; grandchildren, Tristan (Tara), Morgan (Ben), Chris, Breanna (Andrew), and Jessica; 6 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Lenore (David) Monkus, Benton, AR.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorials may be made to St. John Lutheran Church.
