Funeral services for Carole L. Williams, 73, of East Moline, IL, will be 10:30 am Monday, March 21, 2022, at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, East Moline. Visitation will be 2-5 pm Sunday, March 20, 2022 at the funeral home. Carole passed away Sunday March 13, 2022, at her home, peacefully, after an eight month battle with pancreatic cancer.

Carole Pohl was born August 3, 1948, in Davenport, IA, the daughter of Robert and Marjorie (Nolan) Pohl. She retired from John Deere Harvester, East Moline, in 2008. Carole was always busy, generous to a fault and a superb care giver. She enjoyed traveling and music. She loved attending all the grandchildren's activities. Although she did not have a green thumb, she had a "silk" flower garden that bloomed year round.

Survivors include the love of her life for the last 24 years, Henry "Hank" Sandoval, East Moline; her son, Shawn DeKeuninck, Wichita, KS; "step-children" Teri (Rod) Schwenneker, Port Byron, IL, Beth (Mike) Lambert, San Tan Valley, AZ, Mark (Kim) Sandoval, Calloway, FL, Jill Sandoval, Port Pyron, Janel (Tom) Yurk, Sheboygan, WI, and Stephanie Haskins, Moline; 20 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; brother, Scott (Joanne)Pohl, Walcott, IA.

She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Jon (Patricia) Pohl.
