Funeral services for Caroline J. Anderson, 83, of East Moline, IL, will be 10:00AM Saturday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Hampton, IL. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, East Moline. Visitation will be 4:00-7:00PM Friday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline, where a rosary will be recited at 3:30PM. Caroline died Tuesday, August 28, 2012 at Trinity Rock Island. Caroline Shelangouski was born April 7, 1929 in Fairfield, IA, the daughter of Edward and Carrie Pech Shelangouski. She married Charles "Eddie" Anderson August 13, 1949 in Rapids City, IL. He died November 30, 1984. She had worked as a secretary for Herman Nelson, Co., Moline, IL. She had been a lifetime member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Hampton. Survivors include her daughters, Linda (Jeff) Boyle, East Moline, and Susan (Darrel) Cutkomp, East Moline; son, Dennis (Janet) Anderson, East Moline; grandchildren, Christopher Anderson, Nikki (Joe) Colombari, Traci Boyle, Cody and Corey Cutkomp; great-granddaughter, Sophia Colombari; sisters-in-law, Theresa Shelangouski, Rapids City, Kazue Shelangouski, Japan, and Lois Shelangouski, Silvis, IL. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, infant children, Cheryl and Michael, granddaughter, Becky Anderson, brothers, Roy, Norbert, Gerald, and Louis.
