Casen M.R. Garcia, 22, of Silvis, IL, passed away Saturday, July 09, 2022 in Joslin, IL. Services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 16, at Van Hoe Funeral Home, East Moline. Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Friday, July 15, at the funeral home. No Inurnment is planned at this time. Memorials may be made to his family to be designated later. Casen was born January 10, 2000 in Davenport, Iowa, a son of Allison K. Rose. He was currently serving in the Army National Guard, and was employed at Tyson. Casen was an avid outdoorsman and supporter of Animal Rights. He enjoyed working with his hands, music, photography and drawing. Some of his favorite times were those spent with family and friends. He will be greatly missed by all. Surviving are his mother, Allison Rose, East Moline, IL and co-parent Pat Garcia, Ohio; fiance, Jessica Rocha Alvarado, Silvis; son, Arsinoe Garcia, at home; stepson, Eremis Calhoun, at home; sister, Katrina Garcia, Moline, IL; brother, Donovan Bailey, Moline, IL; grandparents, Bonita and Gerald Westerlund, Moline, and Mike and Mary Ellis, Ohio; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and other family. Casen was preceded in death by his great grandma, Joan Williamson and uncle, Robert Anderson.
