Graveside services for Charles R. Bunch Sr., 77, of Bolivar, MO, formerly of Rock Island, IL, will be 1:00 PM Friday at Rock Island Memorial Park Cemetery, Rock Island. Mr. Bunch died Saturday, June 30, 2007 at Cox Health Center, Springfield, MO. Memorials may be made to the Quad City Animal Welfare Center 724 West Second Avenue, Milan, IL 61264. Mr. Bunch was born May 13, 1930 in Booker, TX, the son of Charles and Hazel (Harlow) Bunch. He married Barbara Sherwood June 9, 1951. He later married Wilma Wilderman in 1974. She died 1996. He served in the US Army during WWII. He had worked with the Roads and Grounds Crew at the Rock Island Arsenal, retiring in 1990. He had been a member at Edgewood Baptist Church Rock Island. Survivors include: daughters and sons-in-law, Debra and Amit Ghosh of Twinsburg, OH, Robin Beals of Bolivar, MO, Susan and Greg Worley of Canby, OR; sons and daughter-in-law, Acie and Gloria Bunch of Rock Island, Charles Bunch Jr. of France; 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Patsy Feeley of Port Angeles, WA; brother and sister-in-law, Richard "Buddy" and Carol Bunch of Dixon, IA. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, and his dog "Cheyenne" who preceded him by 6 days.
