Charles William Stewart, 70, of East Moline, passed away Monday, March 23, 2025, at his residence. Per his wishes cremation rites will be accorded. Services to be held at a later date.

Charles was born on January 24, 1956, in Ottumwa, IA. He worked at Royal Neighbor for 25 years in maintenance and later worked at Walmart. Charles enjoyed listening to music, with his favorite song being “Staying Alive” by the Bee gees. He will be remembered as “the man” who was full of life, being the life of the party, and being the one taking care of fixing anything he could.

Charles is survived by his daughters, Michelle (Andrew Courbat) Stewart and Kristy Stewart; 5 stepchildren; grandchildren, Amber Morris, Melissa Morris, Kelly Morris, Jesse Brown, Summer Brown, and Cynthia and Hope Stewart; and 7 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Artie Stewart; and granddaughter, Gabrielle Morris.
