Funeral services for Charles W. "Chuck" Lehne, 85, of East Moline, IL, will be 10:00AM Wednesday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home, Ltd., East Moline. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, East Moline. Visitation will be 4:00-7:00PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Mr. Lehne died Friday, October 17, 2014, at his home. Chuck was born April 9, 1929, in Moline, IL, the son of Albert and Ella Huffman Lehne. He married Mary J. Dobbels September 18, 1948, in East Moline. She died May 4, 1991. He later married Peggy Plym June 10, 1995. He retired as a tool and die maker from Farmall, Rock Island, in 1985, after 42 years of service. He was an avid golfer. For the last several years, he and Peggy had enjoyed spending the majority of their year "wintering in Florida". Survivors include his wife, Peggy Lehne, East Moline; daughter, Bonnie (Tom) DeGrande, Schaumburg, IL; sons, Robert (Lita) Lehne, Villa Park, IL, Rick (Kathy) Lehne, Silvis, IL, and Dean (Kim) Lehne, Tomah, WI; step children, Sharon (Alfred) Rossell, Geneseo, IL, and Ronald (Nancy) Plym, Las Vegas, NV; 9 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; 6 step grandchildren; 11 step great grandchildren; 6 step great great grandchildren.
