Funeral Services celebrating the life of Charlotte E Breckling., 86 of Davenport, Iowa will be 1 PM, Thursday October 30, 2014 at Van Hoe Funeral Home, 1500 6TH Street, East Moline, Illinois. Visitation will be held from 12 Noon until service time. A memorial fund has been established. Mrs. Breckling went to meet the Lord on Saturday, October 25, 2014, surrounded by her loving family, at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf, Iowa. Charlotte E Crane was born November 7, 1927, daughter of Thelma and Edmond Crane, in South Dakota. She was united in marriage to Robert Breckling on April 17, 1963. Robert preceeded Charlotte in death on January 27, 1995. Charlotte enjoyed spending time with her family, attending church, playing Yahtzee and Skipbo, doing puzzles, and reading. Survivors include her children: Robert (Deann) Breckling, East Moline, Ronald Breckling, East Moline, Grandchildren: Abbey Breckling and David Rummery. Brother: Edmond Crane Jr, Walcott, Iowa, Sister and best friend: Carol Jasper, Davenport, Iowa. Multiple special Nieces, Nephews, Great Nieces, Great Nephews, and Great Great Nieces and Great Great Nephews. In addition to her husband Robert Breckling, she was proceeded in death by: her parents, Sisters: Yvonne Smith, Beulah Everhart, and Thelma Hengl, Brothers: Howard Crane and Phillip Crane.
