Cheri Jo James (Allan), 58, passed away on November 21, 2017 at her home in Burlington NC. Visitation will be held at The First Presbyterian Church in Coal Valley from 6:30-7:30PM on Friday December 15, 2017 with funeral services immediately following. Cheri Jo was born on November 6, 1959 in Macon County, IL. Cheri Jo waitressed at the Waffle House for many years of her life. Cheri Jo thanked God that she was able to reconnect with all 3 of her daughters and grandchildren over the last 3 years. She was able to form special bonds with her daughters and grandchildren that will last a lifetime. She loved to fish, and was well known for her infectious laugh. Survivors include her daughters, Amanda (Lee) Rottman, Coal Valley, IL, Crystal James, Eastampton NJ and Christina James, Rossville, GA; 3 Grandchildren and her long time boyfriend, Mike Casey, Burlington, NC.
