Cheyenne K. Prouty, 38, of Rock Island, IL, passed away Tuesday January 3, 2023 at UnityPoint, Trinity, Rock Island.

A Celebration of Cheyenne's life will be planned at a later date. Van Hoe Funeral Home, East Moline, is assisting the family with arrangements. Memorials may be made to Christian Care, Rock Island.

Cheyenne was born July 11, 1984 in Moline, Illinois, a daughter of Joseph Cantrell and Tracey Prouty. She graduated from Pontiac High School, Pontiac, IL, Class of 2000.

She was a nurses aide. Her primary gift in life was bringing laughter and smiles to others.

Surviving are her daughter, Makyla, of Pontiac, IL; mother, Tracey, of East Moline; father, Joseph Cantrell, Moline; siblings, Joseph (Danyelle) Cantrell, Andover, IL, Gage Cantrell, East Moline, Garrett Marcin, Moline, Alyssa Marcin, East Moline and Christina Barlow, East Moline; several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles, and other family.

Cheyenne was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents and paternal grandparents.
