Christy R. Johnson, 75, of East Moline, passed away Friday, August 1st, 2025, University of Iowa Health care Downtown.

Christy was born March 16,1950, in Moline, IL. She was the daughter of Dorothy McDole-Hallam and Donald Schutz.

She married Norris G. Johnson on March 21st, 1987. She attended cosmetology as a hairdresser in 1963. She worked for the East Moline school District #37 as a custodian.

Christy loved spending time with her great granddaughters. She enjoyed watching her soap operas and Two and a Half Men. She spent a lot of time out in her garden growing vegetables and flowers.

Survivor's include her daughter, Jennifer Chehouani; grand-son Mason Sneed; grand-daughter Allyssa Sneed; great granddaughters Natalie, Kendall & Madelyn Higgins; a sister Roberta Storck-Hagerty of LA and a brother Robert Rosenow Jr. of Rock Island.
