Cinderella Christensen, 84, East Moline, died Friday, November 13, 2009 at her home. Her family will hold an open house on Sunday November 22, 2009 at the family home, 534 Avenue of the Cities, East Moline from 1-4PM. Her body has been cremated and private committal services will be held at a later date. A memorial fund has been established. She was born January 17, 1925 in Little Rock Arkansas, the daughter of Matt and Elsie (Stoker) Walton. She married Chester Tinker on August 28, 1944, he died July 29, 1969. She married Milton "Tony" Christensen on May 24, 1981. Cinderella had worked at the East Moline American Legion, the East Moline Moose Lodge and the East Moline Eagles Club. She enjoyed fishing, going to the local Casino's and was a avid quilter. Survivors include her husband Tony, daughter Linda (Larry) Longnecker, Erie, IL, stepson Marc (Kathy) Christensen, Kankakee, IL, grandsons James (Pam), Longnecker, Silvis, Sean (Michelle) Longnecker, Silvis, and Jason (Cindy) Longnecker, Colona, great-grandchildren Emily, Trey and Brandon, brothers Clint Walton, Greenville, MO, and Melvin Walton, Poplar Bluff, MO, sisters; Lorene Tinker, Poplar Bluff, Wanda Joyce, Granite City, IL, Brenda Callow, Colona and JoAnn English, Coal Valley. She is preceded in death by her parents, a brother Albert and a sister Waltie. The family would like to thank Trinity Hospice, especially Jenna and Pam and Michelle Longnecker for their wonderful care to Cinderella.
