Cindi L. Malzewski, 67, of East Moline, IL, passed away Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at her home.

Her family plans to have a private Celebration of Life at a later date. Van Hoe Funeral Home, East Moline, is assisting the family with arrangements. Memorials may be made to QC Paws.

Cindi was born August 30, 1958, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to Donald and Elizabeth (Sanfilippo) Rollins. She was previously married to Thomas Malzewski.

Her work involved a variety of sales positions, while spending most of her career at Glass Service Center in Rock Island.

Cindi loved being a grandmother (nana), enjoyed cooking, had a passion for gardening, and she had a great sense of humor. She was a woman of faith and she loved family traditions. She will be dearly missed.

Surviving are her sons, Jason Malzewski and Michael Malzewski, Sr., both of Colorado, and Donald (Lori) Malzewski, Colona; grandchildren, Kaylina Malzewski (Sabrina Brown), Moline, Amorah Malzewski (Peter Ruggles), Geneseo, Colton Malzewski, Moline, Michael (Madilyn Gruenwald) Malzewski, Jr., Milwaukee, WI, Kayton, Jocelyn and Hadley Malzewski, all of Colona; special friend, Larry Anderson, Sherrard; sisters, Valorie (Joe) Schleicher, Wisconsin, and Lisa (Todd) Moen, California; and several nieces, nephews, and their families.

Cindi is preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Elizabeth; and siblings, Vicki Verette, David Rollins, and Jeannie Lewis.
