Funeral services for Clara Mary Ann Sovanski, 89, of Moline, IL, will be 10:00AM Wednesday at Christ the King Catholic Church, Moline. Entombment will be in St. Mary's Mausoleum, East Moline. Visitation will be 4:00- 6:00PM Tuesday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Mrs. Sovanski died Sunday, November 11, 2007 at Parkview Terrace, East Moline. A memorial fund has been established. Clara Hamilton was born June 28, 1918 in Weathersfield, IL, the daughter of Albert and Amelia (Merssner) Hamilton. She married Adolph Sovanski November 12, 1938 in Kewannee, IL. He died October 4, 2007. Adolph and Clara had been married for nearly 69 years. She had been in charge of housekeeping at Christ the King Catholic Church and the former Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Moline. Survivors include: her daughter and son-in-law, Kathleen and Raynold Runge, Durant, IA; sons and daughter-in-law, Albert and Maggie Sovanski, Coal Valley and Gregory, Moline, grandchildren; Diane, Sara, Chad, Wendy, Mary, and Ron; four great grandchildren; sister, Evelyn Buswell of Galesburg, IL.
