Graveside services for Clarence Bunting, 73, of Silvis, IL, will be 1:00PM Saturday at Golden Community Cemetery, Golden, IL. Visitation will be 5-8 PM Friday (today), at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd. East Moline, IL. Mr. Bunting died Wednesday, January 30, 2008 at his home. Memorials may be made to the family. Clarence was born September 17, 1934 in Augusta, IL, the son of Harry and Alma (Decker) Bunting. He married Joyce Gooding July 4, 1954 in Mendon,IL. She died May 25, 2004. He had worked at John Deere Plow Planter, Moline, retiring after 31 years of service. After retirement he had worked for APAC, Mount Joy, IA. He had been a Scoutmaster for Troop 175, Moline. Clarence was a loving father, grandfather, and great grandfather. Survivors include: sons and daughter-in-law, Dwight "Heavy" Bunting of East Moline, Terry and Ann Bunting of Silvis, grandchildren, Robert, Jodell, Jennifer, Eric, Crystal, Becky, and Sami; great grandchildren, Derrek, Heavenlie, James, and Jaxon.
