Clarence L. Poffenberger, 73, Davenport, died April 29, 2008 at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf, Iowa. Burial will be in Vista Memorial, Miami Lakes, FL. Clarence was born October 28, 1934 in Chicago, IL, the son of Clarence and Audrey Springer Poffenberger. He married Diana Photopoulous Moraetes. She preceded him in death. Clarence had worked as a computer operator and later as a driver for Airborne Express. Survivors include Lia Fields, Davenport, Thomas Moraetes, Round Lake Beach, IL, and Demetri Moraetes, Lake Wales, FL, six grandchildren, two great grandchildren and a sister Barbara Veit, Texas.
