Clifford James McLaughlin, 73 of Silvis, IL, died Sunday, October 16, 2005 at Forrest Hill Health Care Center, East Moline, IL. Private burial will be at The National Cemetery, Rock Island, IL. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to the family. Cliff was born March 11, 1932 in Rock Island, IL, the son of James and Margaret (Stecher) McLaughlin. He married Jean Albrecht June 23, 1962. He had served in the US Navy during the Korean War. He had worked at the former St. Anthony's Hospital and Waste Management, Rock Island, IL. He loved taking walks and was an Avid Chicago Cubs Fan. Survivors include: his wife, Jean McLaughlin of Silvis, IL; stepdaughter and son-in-law, Christi and Gary Ohl of Davenport, IA; stepson and daughter-in-law, Larry and Chris Hillbloom of Silvis, IL; grandchildren, Melissa Hillbloom and Jeremy Albrecht; greatgranchildren, Breonna, Shawn and Jaden Jo; sister and brother-in-law, Joyce and James Schmidt of Quincy, IL.
