Colette A. Gosa, 81, of Colona, IL, died Saturday, January 16, 2021, at University Hospital and Clinics, Iowa City, IA. Private funeral services will be held at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline, IL. Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Collette Jones was born September 26, 1939, in Moline, IL, the daughter of William and Marie (Snodgrass) Jones. She married Clement "Junior" Gosa February 25, 1956, in Moline, IL. She was an Avon Representative for several years. She was a loving wife and mother. She will be missed very much. Survivors include her husband, Junior Gosa, Colona; sons, Duane (Nancy) Gosa, Colona, and Russell Gosa, East Moline; grandchildren, Chad, Quintin, and Shelby; and brother, Alan "Deacon" Jones, Corralville, IA. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Patty Nichols; daughter-in-law, Brenda Gosa; and grandchildren, Brandon and Duane Scott "Scotty" Gosa.
