Graveside committal services for Cora A Bolmer, 92, Silvis, formerly of Indianapolis, IN, are 1PM Friday at Washington Park East Chapel, Indianapolis. Mrs. Bolmer died Monday, December 3, 2007 at Aspen Rehab and Health Care, Silvis. Cora Solbrig was born April 16, 1915 in Rock Island, IL, the daughter of John and Sophia (Lupen) Solbrig. She married the love of her life Herman Bolmer on April 16, 1933. He died in 1982. Cora had worked 20 years in the cafeteria at Thomas Carr Howe High School. She was a 60-year member of the Linwood Christian Church, Indianapolis. She enjoyed crafts, quilting at her church, her church study group, Sunday school and playing cards. She loved animals particularly Dashounds. Survivors include daughter Linda Wadsager, Silvis, son Herman Bolmer, Fostoria, OH, brother and sister-in-law John and Harriet Solbrig, Davenport, granddaughter Heather J. Bolmer, grandson Eric Bolmer, both of Houston, TX, niece and her family Pat Snyder, Margaret Knight, and Walter Knight and family.
