Corinne "Cory" Y. Yeager, 68, of Coal Valley, IL, passed away Friday May 24, 2024, at University of Iowa Hospital, Iowa City, IA.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 31, at Van Hoe Funeral Home, East Moline, with visitation prior from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Entombment will be in the Mausoleum at St. Mary's Cemetery, East Moline.

Corinne was born July 8, 1955, in Moline, Illinois, a daughter of Robert and Orriel (Kave) VanHollebeke. She graduated from UT High School, Class of 1973. She married James D. Yeager on August 20, 1977, in East Moline.

Corinne worked for Isabel Bloom for many years. She enjoyed gardening, crafting, floral arranging and going to thrift stores. She was a talented seamstress and made several wedding dresses. Her favorite times were those spent with friends and family. She will be greatly missed by all.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, James, of Coal Valley; children, Kyle Yeager, Moline, Hannah Yeager, Lone Tree, Iowa, and Brett Yeager, Coal Valley; brother, Doug VanHollebeke, East Moline, and sister, Josie Woodward, Iowa City, Iowa; special niece to whom she was very close, Amy Woodward, and many other nieces, nephews, and other family.

Corinne was preceded in death by her grandparents; parents, Robert and Orriel; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Dale and Donna Yeager; and many aunts and uncles.
