Funeral services for Curtis F. Loete, 56, of East Moline, IL, will be 11:00AM Thursday at St. Anne Catholic Church, East Moline, IL. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, East Moline. Visitation will be 4:00-6:00PM Wednesday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline, where a Masonic Service will be held at 6:00PM. Curt died Monday, November 17, 2014, at Genesis Medical Center, Silvis, IL. Curtis was born March 3, 1958, in Moline, IL, the son of Frank and Joan Haskins Loete. He had worked out of the Roofers Local 32, Rock Island, IL. He had been a member of the Silvis Masonic Lodge # 898. He had been a loving son and brother who enjoyed life. Curtis had been an advocate for tissue donation and was an eye donor. Survivors include his mother, Joan, East Moline; brothers, Steven J., Denver, CO, Mark S. (Stephanie Blackman), Chichester, NY, Jay A. Roanoke, IL, and Michael, East Moline; niece Roxanne; and nephew, Steve. He was preceded in death by his father.
