CYNTHIA D. FINDLEY, 61, of Springfield, Ohio, passed away at Dayspring on Sunday, March 31, 2024. Funeral services will be 12:30 PM Tuesday, April 9, 2024 at the Van Hoe Funeral Home, East Moline, Burial will be in Rock Island National Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-6 PM Monday, April 8, 2024, at the funeral home.

She was born in Davenport, Iowa on September 16, 1962, the daughter of the late Daniel Lee Cook and Judith (Herbon) Sovanski. Cindy had worked at the YMCA in Davenport, Iowa for many years. She loved spending time with her family and friends and enjoyed hosting neighborhood kids at her home.

She is survived by her daughters, Veronica Findley and Catalina Varela, both of Springfield; step-children, Scott Findley and Shirley Goodson; grandchildren, Isaac and Keith Goodson; brother, Forest Cook; sister, Melinda Palmer; nieces, Paige, Chelsea and Annie Palmer and Savanna Tisdale; and great nieces and nephews, Emilia, Emilee, Easton, Wyatt, Sophia, Ben, Kyler, Kamdyn,Chloe and Colton. A life-long animal lover, Cindy is also survived by her pups, Miles, Gracie, Skeeter, Molly and Junior. Cindy was preceded in death by her husband, David Lee Findley in 1992.
