Dale R. Darr, 84, sadly passed away Tuesday, January 9, 2024, at Nebraska Medicine, Omaha, NE.

Dale was born June 10, 1939, in Moline, IL, the son of Robert and Marie (Martin) Darr. Dale married Toni Goulet March 3, 1984, in Rock Island, IL. He retired from Case/IH Plant, East Moline in 1992, after 32 years of service mainly as a crane operator.

He enjoyed watching various sports, but his passion was fast-pitch softball. He played for 27 years as a left-handed pitcher. He had a special love for all his pets over the years, especially his latest, a little Boston.

Dale is survived by his wife of 40 years, Toni, as well as his children, Suzanne Darr, of Rock Island, IL and David Darr, of Milan, IL; step-children, Paul (Lori) Goulet, of Colona, IL, and Jason Goulet, of Parker, CO; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; sister, Janet Bethurum of Wheat Ridge, CO; sister-in-law, Judy Darr, of Thornton, CO; and his first wife, Carolyn George-Hibbs, of Rock Island, IL.

Dale was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Donald, and grandchildren, Amber, Craig and Matthias.
