Memorial services for Dale A. Hofstetter, 72, of Spruce Creek Preserve in Ocala, FL, formerly of East Moline, IL, will be 2:00 PM Tuesday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline, IL. Interment will be in Hampton City Cemetery, Hampton, IL. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Mr. Hofstetter died Thursday, December 15, 2005 in Ocala, FL. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association. Dale was born June 6, 1933, in Moline, IL, the son of Harold and Theodosia (Hanewacker) Hofstetter. He married Mamie Lou Brown, June 11, 1971 in Aledo, IL. He retired after 22 years of service as a Computer Analyst with Deere & Co., Moline, IL. He enjoyed golfing, bowling and playing cards. His friends and family were very important to him. Survivors include his wife of 34 years; Mamie Lou Hofstetter of Ocala, FL; daughters and sons-in-law, Jeri and Tom Hartman of Mesa, AZ, Pamela and Lance Fuhr of Crown Point, IN; stepson, Jeffrey Constant of Muscatine, IA, 9 grandchildren; 1 great grandson; sister and brother-in-law, Patricia and Dale Bennett of Wyoming, IL; brother and sister-in-law, Harold and Kay Hofstetter of Little Rock, AK; many nieces and nephews.
