Funeral services for Dale E. Whitcanack, 83, of East Moline will be 10:00AM Saturday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Estate, Moline. Visitation will be Friday 4-7PM at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd. Mr.Whitcanack died December 13, 2006 at Genesis Medical Center, Illini Campus, Silvis. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society. He was born November 18, 1923 in Milton, Iowa, the son of John and Della(Doan) Whitcanack. He married Frances Chipman November 10, 1945 in Ottumwa, IA. She died November 29, 2003. Mr. Whitcanack retired in 1980 after working 31 years for International Harvester. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family.
