Daniel T. Anderson, 63, Rock Island, passed away on Sunday, October 7, 2018 at Aperion, East Moline. A memorial gathering will be held at a later date.

Dan was born December 8, 1954 in Charles City, IA, the son of Robert and Carol (Gillespie) Blattner. His father died and he was raised by his mother and Ron Anderson. He graduated from Rock Island High School, where he was quite the athlete. He served his country in the US Navy. Dan most recently worked at Joe's Place, Coal Valley. He was a quiet man who enjoyed his home.

Survivors include his sister, Cathy Webb, Silvis, 2 nephews and 3 nieces.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Brian Anderson and a niece.
