Daniel Lee Dawson, 39, Moline, passed away on Thursday, April 20, 2017 at Genesis Illini, Silvis. Funeral services are 2PM Saturday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Visitation is from 1PM until service time. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the ARC of the Quad Cities 4016 9th Street, Rock Island. Daniel was born on October 19, 1977 in Moline, the son of Thomas and Deborah (Miljush) Dawson. He graduated from Black Hawk Area Special Education. Survivors include his grandmother, Darline Akins, Moline, brother, Robert Dawson, North Carolina, uncles, Joe (Sue) Miljush, Moline, Harry Dawson, Florida, and Mark Dawson, California, and aunts, Betty Sims, and Carole Beardsley, both of East Moline, and Rosie Hirasawa, Wyoming, many cousins and his ARC family. He was preceded in death by his parents. The family would like to express their gratitude to the ARC of the Quad Cities for the love and care they gave to Daniel.
