Daniel L. DeMay, 79, East Moline, passed away on Thursday, February 18, 2021 at his home. Visitation is 3-6 PM Monday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline, where a rosary will be recited at 2PM. Funeral services are 10 AM Tuesday at St. Anne Catholic Church, East Moline, where he was a member. Memorials may be made to the ARC of the Quad Cities.

Dan was born on May 3, 1941 in Sheffield, IL, the son of Joseph and Madeline (DeCrane) DeMay. He graduated from Annawan High School. He married Sandra Roberts on October 5, 1963 in Annawan, IL. He retired as a supervisor from John Deere Harvester Works, East Moline in 1992 after 29 years with the company. He was a member of the St. Anne Men's Group and served funeral masses. He enjoyed attending stock car and motorcycle races. He enjoyed watching hockey and bicycling. He was a member of the Catholic order of Foresters. Dan loved the time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife, Sandra, children, Brad DeMay, East Moline, Tina DeMay, East Moline and Sara (Bryan) Mosley, Broomfield, CO, grandchildren: Christopher, Nathan and Aubrey, sister Carol Pettis, Tremont, IL.

He was preceded in death by his parents, infant daughter Lisa and brothers Ken and Duane DeMay.
