Funeral services for Daniel N. Liedtke, 24, of East Moline, IL, will be 10:00AM Tuesday at St. Anne Catholic Church, East Moline. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, East Moline. Visitation will be 4:00-8:00PM Monday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline, where a rosary will be recited at the conclusion of the visitation. Mr. Liedtke died at the home of his grandparents of respiratory failure related to Cystic Fibrosis. In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorials may be made to the OSF St. Francis Medical Center Foundation 530 NE Glen Oak Peoria, IL 61637 or the family. Daniel was born February 7, 1985 in Aurora, IL, the son of Todd and Kolleen (York) Liedtke. He graduated from Moline High School in 2003. Dan became a Certified Pharmacy Technician in 2005, and was currently employed by Wal Mart Pharmacy in Moline, IL, where he was selected as this months Rising Star. Dan was an active member of his Cursillo group. He loved spending time with family and friends and traveling to new places. Survivors include: his mother and step-father, Kolleen and Lucio Rojas of Montgomery, IL; father, Todd Liedtke of Silvis, IL; sister, Alexis Liedtke of Elburn, IL; grandparents, Darrel and Pat Liedtke of East Moline; aunts and uncles, Chris (Teresa) Liedtke, Katherine (Michael) DeSmet, Karen Carlson, Kristine (Harold) Long, Bruce (Chris) York, Brian York, Barry (Lisa) York, Bernard (Lilia) York; many cousins and friends. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Virgil and Patricia York and cousin, Ryan Carlson.
