Funeral services for Daniel Ridenour, 29, East Moline, are 10 AM Tuesday at St. Anne Catholic Church, East Moline. Visitation is 4-7 PM Monday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline, where a rosary will be recited at 4PM. Dan died Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 26, 2009 at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City, IA. Memorials may be made to the family. He was born September 25, 1980 in Silvis, IL, the son of Steven and Rose (Lopez) Ridenour. He graduated from United Township High School in 1998. He married Heather Salisberry on November 9, 2006 in San Diego, CA. He enjoyed playing his guitar, being with family and friends and his pets Dakota and Sam. Daniel was employed at McDonald's, Moline. Words cannot express how very thoughtful and caring he was. His strength and courage carried him through his lifelong battle with Cystic Fibrosis. Thank you to the University Hospital staff for their extraordinary care. Survivors include his wife Heather, sister and brother-in-law Cassandra and Chad Storlie of Davenport, and his mother Rose (Manuel) Hernandez, San Diego. He is preceded in death by his father Steven. Daniel you will never be forgotten.
