Daniel Stogsdill, 55, of Atkinson, IL, died Monday, January 21, 2019, at Genesis East, Davenport, IA. Visitation will be 4-7 pm Friday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline, IL. There will also be a gathering, celebrating Dan's life at his mother's home, 2630 37th Ave. Moline from 2-5 PM Saturday.

Dan was born October 1, 1963 in Fresno, CA, the son of Jack and Judith (Christensen) Stogsdill. "Scooter Dan" as he was often referred to as graduated from Moline High School, class of 1981. Dan was a customer service rep for NTI. He was an advocate for those in need and had a big heart. He was always there to help a friend in need. Dan enjoyed listening to live music and was a Chicago Bears and NASCAR fan.

Survivors include his daughter, Danielle Stogsdill, Moline, step children; April Kinkade, Inglis, FL, and Russell Kinkade, Milan, a step grandson, his mother Judith, Moline and siblings, Jack "Buddy" Stogsdill and Darcy Dye, both of Rock Island.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents and his dad.
