Darrell E. Lawson, 70, of Hillsdale, IL, died Saturday, August 29, 2020, at his home. There will be a Celebration of Life held at a later date.

Darrell was born November 5, 1949, in Moline, IL, the son of Elmer and Dona (Mizner) Lawson. He served in the U.S. Marine Corp during the Vietnam Conflict. He married Jeanne Munsterman July 5, 1968, in New Bern, NC.

Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Jeanne Lawson, Hillsdale; son, Anthony Lawson, Hillsdale, mother, Dona Lawson, Geneseo, IL; and siblings, Charles (Connie) Lawson, Atkinson, IL, Michael Lawson, Goofy Ridge, IL, and Dona J. Cross, Atkinson; nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father.
