Funeral services for Darren J. Womack, 41, Moline, are 10 AM Tuesday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Burial is in Roselawn Memorial Estate, Moline. Visitation is 3-7 PM Monday at the funeral home. Darren died Thursday, March 9, 2006 at his home. A memorial fund has been established for his children's Education Fund. Darren was born January 19, 1965 in Columbia, SC, the son of Ken and Monika (Markert) Womack. He was working as a carpenter at Signature Construction, Davenport. Darren loved fatherhood including sports with his son Tyler and attending his daughter Darrian's dance recitals. He enjoyed bowling, fishing, boxing and was a Dale Earnhardt Jr. NASCAR fan. Survivors include his loving fiancв?? for the past 10 years Teresa Steinfield, their children Tyler and Darrian, both at home and his oldest daughter Samantha, who resides with her mother in Rock Island, mother and stepfather Monika Freels and Harold Blasedell, Moline, father and stepmother Ken and Pat Womack, Silvis, sisters Djana Womack, Savanna, IL, Michele (Don Fulscher) Womack, Moline and Tonya (Derrell Crawford) Womack , Colona, grandparents Vernon and Margaret Smith, East Moline and many nieces and nephews.
