David G. Haegeman, 79, Apache Junction, AZ, formerly of Moline, passed away on Friday, May 30, 2014 in Apache Junction. Cremation rites have been accorded. Private inurnment will be at a later date. Memorials may be made to the family at 10752 E. Mercury Dr., Apache Junction, AZ 85120 Dave was born on February 28, 1935, the son of Alphonse and Maxine Maher Haegeman. He married Sandra Myers on June 19, 1954 in Rock Island. He retired from John Deere Foundry. He served in the US Air Force and the Naval Reserves. Dave enjoyed collecting iron mechanical banks. An apple fritter and a Dr. Pepper would always bring a smile to his face. He is survived by his wife, son and daughter-in-law David and Laura Haegeman II, Apache Junction, grandchildren, Douglas Clancey, Melissa (Alex) Luhmann, Michelle Clancey, Marissa Clancey, David Haegeman III, Devin Haegeman, Dakota Haegeman, Donald Haegeman and Sandra Haegeman, sister Julie Kendall, and great granddaughters, Emily and Ella. He was preceded in death by his parents and daughter Lisa Haegeman Clancey.
