Obituary

David E Johnson, age 72 of Aledo, died on August 19th, 2012 at 2:45am. Cremation rights have been accorded and VanHoe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. No funeral service or memorial service will be held at his request. He was born on 13 January 1940, in Aledo, Illinois, son of Edward and Mildred Johnson. He graduated from Aledo High School in 1958 and from Illinois State University in Normal Illinois, in 1963. He married Jean Kempert in Barrington, Illinois, on 13 March 1965. His professional career involved employment at John Deere and Company, Moline, Illinois, Munson Transportation, Monmouth, Illinois, and Williams National Surety Corporation, Davenport, Iowa. After retiring in 2000, along with his daughter, Sivi Ann, they own and operate a world-wide internet website ministry, called Share Jesus Publishing distributing a Non-Denominational Bible Study Guide and twenty-two independent Bible Studies to many souls imparting to them the knowledge of the Saving Grace of Jesus Christ. They also maintain a daily Facebook Bible Study at Share Jesus Publishing on Facebook.com. Sivi Ann will continue to operate and maintain www.sharejesuspublishing.com. . Survivors include two sons, Sean of Palatine, Illinois; Bret of Charleston, South Carolina; a daughter, Sivi Ann of Coal Valley, Illinois; acquired daughters and son, Jerica and Travis of North Henderson, Illinois and Amerie of Oquawka, Illinois; and one brother, Donald Lee Johnson of Aledo, Illinois. Six grandchildren: Thomas, Abigail, and Ella of Charleston, South Carolina, and Jeffery, Katie, and Matthew of Coal Valley, Illinois and acquired grandchildren Gage, Rylee, and Samuel of North Henderson, Illinois He was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers, Duane and Douglas. Special Thanks go to: Carlos Polit, Wayne Bertelsen,Jr, Katherine Polit, Matthew Polit, George Sztajer, Travis and Jerica Ortberg, Dee Nelsen, Faisal Gill, Pankaj Nayak, Waseem Raza and Mohsin Raza, Beacon of Hope Hospice, Home Bound Care for making his life and his death a celebration in the Holy Spirit. He will be missed daily by those whose life he touched and his Christian Ministry will continue to bring Jesus Christ to all who seek Him. All memorials can be sent to Share Jesus Publishing, P.O.
