Graveside services for David L. Keeler, 59, of Silvis, IL, will be 11:00 AM Sunday at Galva Cemetery, Galva, IL. Visitation will be 4-7 PM Friday (today) at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline, IL. Mr. Keeler died Wednesday, September 27, 2006 at home. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. David was born January 15, 1947 in Kewanee, IL, the son of William and Helen (Wells) Keeler. He had served in the United States Army during the Viet Nam War. He had worked as a Union Bricklayer for nearly 30 years, working for the former Local 6, Rock Island, IL and the Local 7 Rockford, IL. He was a NASCAR and St. Louis Cardinal Fan. He enjoyed golfing and hanging out with his friends. He was always tinkering in the garage working on cars and building things. Survivors include: his son, Robert W. Keeler and Robert's fiancée, Lori Baysinger of Holts Summit, MO. He is preceded in death by his: parents; daughter, Turee Kay Keeler; brother, Robert W. Keeler.
