David Phillip Rives, 51, Moline, died Saturday February 2, 2008 at his home. At Dave's request his body will be cremated and there will be no formal services. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. David was born April 17, 1956 to William and Dorothy (Treskow) Rives. He married Mary Lou Dufour Burgemeier and they later divorced. He had worked at Electronic Business Equipment in East Moline and as a courier for My Type. Dave was an avid sports fan especially with the Chicago teams. Survivors include: his mother Dorothy, East Moline; sisters, Carol Johnson, Springfield, VA, Patricia Bonaldi, Seattle, WA, and Nancy Huennekens, Naperville, IL; brothers, William Rives, Naperville, IL, John Rives, Sherrard, IL. His father preceded him in death in 1976
